Three arrested for cutting down endangered tree species

Nsanje District Forestry officials and police have arrested three people and impounded a tractor for cutting down Colophospermum Mopane, endangered tree species locally known as Tsanga. Nsanje Police Station officer-in-charge Kirby Kaunga and district forestry officer Kennedy Adamson confirmed the development in separate interviews.
