Plan International last week handed over a number of development projects to Mulanje District Council aimed at promoting people’s livelihoods. They included an irrigation scheme, school blocks and piped water. Plan International Mulanje programme area manager Daniel Kapatuka said the organisation consulted people before coming up with the projects. Mulanje district education manager (DEM) Gossam Mafuta commended Plan International for the assistance.
