Maurizio Sarri maybe sacked at Chelsea: Sarriball fails

It has been a disastrous few weeks for Chelsea Manager, Maurizio Sarri as his team has had to suffer heavy and embarrassing defeats to Bournemouth, Arsenal, Manchester City and lately Manchester United calling into question the effectiveness of his Sarri-ball philosophy in the English Premier League.

Last nights 2-0 defeat to Manchester United in the F.A Cup highlighted the Chelsea’s fans displeasure with the teams performance as they joined the Manchester United supporters in song that Sarri must be sacked.

His stubbornness to change tactics has been blamed as the number one reason his side have been caught out by their competitors of late having started the season reasonably well. The arrival of striker Gonzalo Higuain has done little to change the fortunes at Stamford Bridge and Sarri may well find himself out of the club sooner than originally expected.

On Monday, Senior figures at the club held a meeting to discuss the Italians future with club according to reports from Sky Sports. The former Napoli boss expressed disappointment with the teams performance against Manchester United. Chelsea are now out of the F.A Cup and lie in 6th position of the Premier League.
