Prophet Sheperd H. Bushiri is spending another weekend in jail after the State opposed his application for bail on Friday.
The leader of the ECG together with his wife Mary and two other co-accused are answering charges related to fraud and money laundering.
The prosecution team allege that the accused pose a flight risk pointing out that Mr Mudolo who is also answering the same charges tried to skip the country earlier though he was unsuccessful.
The State further alleges that the Bushiris legal team paid approximately K25,000,000 to State witnesses and this money came from the couple’s bank account.
