Ben Phiri facing possible arrest by Malawi Police Service in on going anti-corruption investigations

Ben Phiri is being interrogated by the Malawi Police Service due to his involvement in the 2018 scandal where he booked a venue for the DPP convention and asked MERA to pay the costs which came to K12,000,000.00

MERA CEO Collins Magalasi is said to have made the payment under the DPP guru and former minister’s orders.
