Azam TV offers Chichewa dubbed movies

Azam TV says it will continue offering more channels with high quality pictures at low prices.

Speaking on Thursday at its premises in Limbe during the introduction of international series and movies in Chichewa on its channels, Azam TV Commercial Manager Richard Tchereko, said they do not want Malawians to pay more for their family entertainment.

“Since 2015, our prices have been consistent because we have a long-term perspective of entertaining everybody on pay TV. We are just adding more channels at the same subscription rates.

“With K1,980, Malawians do enjoy over 60 Channels from music, sports, documentaries to movies,” he said.

Commenting on the Chichewa development, Tchereko said they focus on excellent and unique features to address the need for more local content in pay TV industry.

“We have set the pace for Chichewa dubbed movies and series. In 2020, we plan to bring in a production studio, and more local content in our channels on Azam One and Two,” he added.

Azam TV Project Manager, Seyd Kadarsha said they have special offers to subscribers this festive season.

“Pay 10 months and get two months free, and five months to get a month free. Pay 12 months Azam subscription and get a free Azam decoder. We use satellite dish and our signal is strong everywhere in Malawi,” he said.
