As more drama unfolds in the delayed Alexis Sanchez transfer saga, Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that Sanchez is likely to join Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Wenger also hinted at the possibility of midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan leaving Old Trafford and joining Arsenal in the January transfer window.
“I worked on transfers for 30 years so it is likely to happen, but at any moment it can break down,” said Wenger.
Rumours have been rife on social media regarding Sanchez overall multi-million package at Old Trafford which is slated to run for four-and-a-half years.
If the deal goes through, Sanchez will be the highest paid player at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho.
