A four year old girl died on Monday after being hit by a minibus as she tried to cross the road in Chinsapo 2, Lilongwe. The accident happened around 5:30pm when a minibus driven by Samson Banda, 28, from Chinguluwe Village, T/A Kalumbu, hit the girl in the head killing her on the spot.
Lilongwe Police Station public relations officer Kingsley Dandaula identified the deceased as Sherrifa Matthias from Mawelo Village, T/A Kalumbu , in Lilongwe.
