Nigerian charismatic pastor, televangelist and philanthropist, Temitope Balogun Joshua, passed away on June 5 2021 after a church service.
T.B Joshua as he was popularly known across the continent, was the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a Christian megachurch that runs the popular Emmanuel TV station from Lagos, Nigeria.
Never without controversy, T.B Joshua was listed by Forbes in 2011 as the third-richest pastor in Nigeria with an estimated wealth of between $10-$15 million. The church did however deny the claims of his reported wealth.
He was known for his prophecies and prophetic teachings which drew many people from across the African continent to his church services in Nigeria.
His YouTube Channel was recently deactivated after videos were posted claiming to cure gay members of his church of their sexuality.
