The Blantyre Water Board (BWB) has assured its customers of a normal and continuous water supply throughout the rainy season. According to a press release made available to Nyasapost.com, BWB was able to provide and supply all the required demand of 96,000m 3 (96 million liters) of potable water to all its customers per day during the just ended dry season when water levels were low.
Blantyre Water Board was also quick to thank the general public for constantly communicating with the BWB to report pipe bursts, leakages, faulty water meters and other problems.
Blantyre Water Board is a parastatal organization established and reconstituted under the Malawi Water Works Act No. 17 of 1995 to supply potable water for commercial, industrial, institutional and domestic use in the supply area of Blantyre City and surrounding areas.
