Arsenal produced a solid display to beat Chelsea 2-1 in the FA Cup final played at Wembley Stadium. The two London sides battled to the very end with Chelsea losing a man in the process as Mateo Kovacic was shown a red card in the 73rd minute.

Things looked good for Chelsea as they too the game to Arsenal from the kick-off with Christian Pulisic putting Chelsea in front after only just five minutes.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leveled terms in the 28th minute converting a penalty that he earned after being brought down in the 18 yard box before he executed another deft finish in the 67th minute to put Arsenal ahead.

The win means Arsenal have won the FA Cup a record 14 times, with new manager Mikel Arteta claiming his first trophy as a Manager for the club he once played for under the legendary Arsene Wenger.

Chelsea will feel a bit hard done with some major refereeing decisions did not go their way but Arsenal are still deserved winners after making light work of Manchester City in the semi-final.
