A three year old boy (name withheld) in Mangochi, drowned last week in a dam at Malembo Trading Centre. Mangochi Police Station deputy spokesperson Amina Tepani Daudi said the deceased – who hailed from Mphunga Village, Tradiotional Authority Ndindi in Salima District – was staying with his parents close to the dam. On the fateful day, the boy snuck out the house to go play at the dam while his mother was at the neighbors house chatting.
